Nestled in the 4-season Masthope Mountain Community, our three level home is a 3BR 2BA comfy home for 8-9 people to gather, enjoy the amenities, play games, watch movies by a fireplace and explore the outdoors. Amenities abound within 5 min: lake, beach, 2 pools, pickleball, tennis, fitness center, restaurant & bar. We are within a 10 min. drive from a luxury spa and a winery.

Good to know

Indoors: Enjoy a newly renovated 3 level house with 3BR, 2 bath, rec room, fully stocked kitchen. The view of the backyard will make you feel like you are in a large tree house overlooking a pond. Bedroom 1 on the main floor: King bed Bedroom 2 "The Pier Room" on 2nd floor: King bed Bedroom 3 "Exploration Room" on 2nd floor: Bunk with a twin over a full + twin trundle bed. The room is large therefore we squeezed in another Queen bed. We can easily accommodate 8-9 people depending on sleeping arrangements. The large windows and the elevated deck with glass railing will let you absorb nature's calming effect and help destress you. Open floor plan that allows everyone in the kitchen and living room to enjoy the wood burning fireplace. 3 Season Room: with fresh pine walls. This is another sweet spot to enjoy a book or for morning coffee with your friends and family. Rec Room: The fun filled, ground level, recreation room to play ping-pong, pool, foosball, darts, board games and watch movies on a large screen TV. The Nook: a unique child friendly space where they like to hide and switch the LED light colors. Outdoors: Among others, our abundant property amenities are: A fire pit overlooking the wooded property Two paddleboards One kayak Fishing rods (need a permit to fish) Pickleball and tennis racquets BBQ grill with propane Masthope Community Amenities - 5 min. drive: The Masthope Mountain Community amenities will make you feel like you are in a resort. Daily renters amenity passes must be purchased at the POC office - $10 per person for the use of the two pools, beach access at the lake with paddle boats and kayaks, fitness center, mini golf and horseback riding. Please note that certain restrictions apply for Holiday weekends. In the winter, lift tickets for skiing, snowboarding and tubing must be purchased separately. You will be within 5 min. drive from the Lodge where there's The Summit restaurant with a large bar, an arcade and the Marketplace for sandwiches and more. Next to the Lodge is our Pool Complex which has two pools. One has slides and a splash pad for children. The Community also has a fitness center, horse stables with a petting zoo, park by the Delaware River, basketball, volleyball, tennis and pickleball courts, mini golf, bocci ball, shuffleboard just to name a few. Other Details to Note

We have a large driveway however guests can only park a max. of 4 cars during the night. This is mandated by our Community and Township ordinance. No street parking. There is no central air conditioning however, there's one powerful unit for the main floor open space, a window unit in each bedroom and ceiling fans in each room. Open windows can sometimes work wonders due to the breeze coming from the pond. For security reasons, there are two exterior security cameras: one above the front staircase pointing at the driveway and the doorbell next to the front door. For the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit, we supply a limited amount of wood based on your stay. Please note that local fire bans can be mandated by our local fire dept. We will inform you ahead of time if applicable.

The Masthope Mountain Community is a 2.5 hour drive from NYC and 3.5 from Philly. It is nestled in the Northeast Poconos, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River area. There are 1,700 single family homes with a mix of full-time and part-time residents. The MMC offers many amenities such as a boat friendly lake with a beach, a ski and tubing mountain, hiking trails, two large pools, fitness center (with yoga classes and a massage therapist), trail horseback riding, tennis and pickleball courts, The Summit Restaurant at Masthope, Tiki bar, a marketplace for sandwiches and basic needs and so much more! Guest Access

We will assign you a temporary entry code for the front door smart lock. There is a 36" wide by 6' ramp for easy access to the main floor. There's also a basement door for ground level access.

Me and my family had a great weekend getaway at Bernard’s. He was very friendly, informative, and communicated everything before and during our stay. The views from back deck was stunning. Would recommend.

Our group (consisting of adults, teenagers and some under 10s) really enjoyed our stay at Bernard’s place. It was as described in the posting and was clean and clutter free. The house had plenty of entertainment (ping pong, foosball, board games, kids nook) and the kitchen/bathroom also had some of the essentials that we didn’t have to worry about (coffee, condiments, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods etc). It was also very close to skiing at big bear which was convenient. Bernard was very communicative throughout, provided plenty of useful info and was accommodating of our needs which made things so much smoother for us. We’ve discussed coming back in the future.

Find us

You will need a car to get to Masthope and get around the Community. You will be sharing the Community's roads with ATVs, UTVs, golf carts. Please note that the speed limit in the Community is 25 mph.
